Sail Turkey/Bodrum to Fethiye Gulet Cruise

As a premier choice for gulet holidays Turkey, this cabin cruise provides an environment of relaxed professionalism. You are living on a traditional wooden vessel, but the experience is defined by the depth of the shore excursions and the quiet luxury of waking up in a new district every morning. This is the ultimate "slow travel" solution for navigating the Turkish Riviera, replacing the logistics of road travel with the effortless rhythm of the sea. Whether you are exploring the boutique stone lanes of Datça or hiking to the hilltop ruins of Amos, the balance between active discovery and deck-side tranquility is meticulously maintained. If you intend to spend a week sailing Turkey, this itinerary represents the absolute pinnacle of the coastal experience.
EXTRA NOTES
- Our captain is fully authorized to change the route in bad weather and sea conditions.
- Children under the age of 12 are not allowed on our cabin tours.
- An extra fee of 70%, which is the difference for single accommodation, is applied to our guests who will join our cabin tour as a single person.
- Day 1
Bodrum, Black Island
The journey commences at 15:00 in Bodrum Marina. Once settled into your ensuite cabin, the gulet departs the harbor, leaving the silhouette of the Crusader Castle behind. Our first anchorage is at the volcanic Black Island (Kara Ada), known for its mineral-rich waters and deep blue grottoes. This initial evening sets the standard for the week: a Mediterranean dinner served on deck as the stars emerge over the Aegean horizon.
- Day 2
Ancient City Knidos, Datça
An early departure brings us to the rugged headland of Knidos. This classical city, situated where two seas meet, allows you to explore ancient theaters and temples just steps from the shore. Following a snorkeling session in the exceptionally clear waters of Palamutbükü, we dock at Datça. The late afternoon is reserved for wandering the town’s honey-colored stone lanes and boutique artisan shops a hallmark of refined gulet holidays Turkey.
- Day 3
The Fortress of Bozukkale, Kadırga Bay
We sail toward the Loryma Peninsula to reach Bozukkale. This historic bay was once a strategic naval stronghold; you can still hike to the ancient ramparts for an expansive view of the surrounding gulf. The afternoon is spent in the mirror-calm Kadırga Bay, an ideal location for long swims and a quiet alfresco dinner under the Milky Way.
- Day 4
The Ruins of Amos, Marmaris
The morning begins at Kumlubük with an optional hike to the ruins of Amos. This hilltop archaeological site offers one of the most photogenic vantage points on any Turkey boat trip. After a quiet tea break at the pine-scented Paradise Island, we enter the bustling port of Marmaris. Guests can explore the Ottoman castle or experience the world-class dining and vibrant nightlife that defines this harbor city.
- Day 5
Dalyan Delta, Ekincik Bay
A short sail leads us to Ekincik Bay. While the boat remains at anchor, most guests join the optional Dalyan riverboat expedition. This journey navigates the reed-lined delta to the protected Iztuzu (Turtle) Beach and provides a close-up view of the 2,000 year old Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs. It is a significant cultural highlight before returning to the gulet for a sunset seafood dinner.
- Day 6
Göcek Archipelago, Tersane Island, Cleopatra's BathToday is dedicated to the world renowned islands of Göcek. We visit Tersane Island to swim over submerged Byzantine shipyard ruins and stop at Bedri Rahmi Bay to see the famous hand painted fish motif. A final dip at Cleopatra’s Bath; a gift from Marc Antony to the Egyptian Queen precedes our evening mooring near the chic, palm lined promenade of Göcek.
- Day 7
Tarzan Bay and the Fethiye Finale
The final leg of our Sailing Turkey adventure takes us into the vast Bay of Fethiye. We stop at Tarzan Bay, where the turquoise water and rope swings provide a playful end to the maritime journey. By mid-afternoon, we berth at Fethiye Marina. The final evening is spent exploring the famous "Bar Street" and the historic Old Town, celebrating a week of exceptional coastal discovery.
- Day 8
Disembarkation in Fethiye
Following a final breakfast on deck and a traditional Turkish coffee, guests disembark at 09:30. Whether you stay to hike the Lycian Way or move on to the nearby islands, you leave with a comprehensive understanding of the Riviera’s most iconic treasures.
